Inner journey - step 1 ( of 12 )

Create a vision !  What kind of woman do you want to be? What kind of mother, wife, friend? What do you want to spend your precious time doing? What kind of life do you want to live? Be as vague or as detailed as you feel comfortable with. I would say the more specific you get the easier it is to make changes. From thoughts on how you would like to react to  difficulties, how you would like to feel and what you would like to achieve to little things like what kind of pyjamas do you want to sleep in and what does your breakfast look like. Write all of it down, as often as you need, from one part of yourself to another. Read it out from time to time and rethink , adjust , open yourself to new ideas. When you face challenges in your parenting or time management or whatever it is, revisit that page and look at your vision for it. You can write some key words or phrases to hang around your house to remind you or make a vision board to help you. Once you have a clearer vision of yourself its easier to actually break it down and start to take small steps in the right direction. It's not so much a dream anymore but your inner voice that you can finally hear. Like the beautiful quote by Rumi.
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. At the end of the day, our vision is our inner voice reminding us who we are and what we are capable of once we break down all our barriers of fear, self doubt, bad habits and old negative thoughts. It doesnt happen over night but small steps can take you a long way and however close we get to our destination, its the journey we must find joy in....
